Alphonso Davies has made the club happy, says the club president Hainer

Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer is impressed by the performance of Alphonso Davies and praised him to be one of the stars in helping Bayern win the title this year. He has described him as a real hit who had made the club very happy with his contribution. He was transferred from Vancouver Whitecaps on 2018 to Bayern and since then he has been doing good in the German club.

Can Dortmund Realistically End Bayern's Bundesliga Dominance

It's still early days in the Bundesliga with just seven games played and there are still plenty more twists and turns to come before the German top flight concludes in May 2019, however the league is starting to take shape and, worryingly for Bayern Munich, they have four points to make up on current leaders Borussia Dortmund.

The Bavarians made a less than impressive start to the 2017-18 campaign but were a point better off heading into the second international break and their stuttering starts are beginning to be a cause for concern amongst Bayern fans.

Former Bayern Munich boss urges club to secure Alexis Sanchez Signing

Former Bayern Munich manager Ottmar Hitzfeld has urged his former club to make a move for Alexis Sanchez before their European rivals pounce for the Arsenal forward.

The Chile international grabbed 30 goals and 15 assists for the Gunners last term as they celebrated FA Cup success. Despite this, he is reluctant to prolong his stay beyond next season with the club failing to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in 20 years. Manchester City and Chelsea are the other suitors for Sanchez this summer, and it is suggested that the 28-year-old could push for a reunion with Pep Guardiola at the Etihad.
