Kroos Denies Involvement With Munich

The German playmaker, Toni Kroos, has denied to have reached any agreement with the La Liga club Real Madrid.

A few days ago, there were talks in the Spanish media that the 24-year Old player would be making his way to Santiago Bernabeu pretty soon as his services had almost been secured by the Los Blancos.

But, Kroos cleared the air in his most recent interview.
When asked about the Real Madrid links, Kroos said, “Look, I have said a couple of times before as well that while being in Brazil, I am not thinking about transfer issues at all.
My focus is only on making Germany win games at the moment.”
“It’s impossible for me to come out and make a statement every day. I have been very clear that I would not decide anything until the tournament here gets over.”

“Once I am done with my commitments in Brazil, I would make an announcement, but, not now.”

There have been questions raised over Kroos’ future since quite a while. His contract at Bayern Munich is going to expire at the end of the upcoming season and he is yet to have had any agreement with the club management regarding the fresh deal.

Munich is also not believed to be overly keen to make him stay. They are more or less ready to let him go and there is a good possibility that at the end of Germany’s campaign in the World Cup, the player would be sold.

Kroos has been with Bayern Munich since the last 8 years. He has so far played 130 league matches for the first team of Munich and has scored 13 goals.

Kroos had made 13 appearances for the second team of Munich as well in the 2007-08 Season.
